Book Cover Redesign: Spinning Silver

In an Editing and Publishing course at Purdue University, I developed a portfolio of editing, proofreading, development, and design skills. Here is the outcome of a design project in which I redesigned the cover of Spinning Silver by Naomi Novik. This was a challenge because I already believe the cover of this book to be excellent. In my version, I created a focus on feminism, power, and magic. I also visually adapted the style for a modern and digital audience.
